Questions
Do guests need to download it from an app store?
No. It opens from a QR code or a link, and adds to their home screen in two taps on iPhone or Android, just like an app. There’s nothing to search for and no account to make.
How long does it take to set up?
About 5 minutes. Fill in the short form and your app is made straight away, with your local listings and What’s On filling in over the next 10 to 20 minutes. Then work down the steps in your editor: everything saves as you go.
What happens after the 7-day free trial?
If you’d like to keep it, pay £49 for the year in your editor, by credit or debit card. If you don’t, the app pauses for guests as the 8th day begins. You can still sign in, and switch it back on whenever you like. No card is needed for the trial.
I have more than one place.
Each place gets its own app, with its own name, photos and local guide, at £49 a year each. Order each one with the form.
Can I change things myself?
Yes, any time. Your editor shows the real app as guests will see it, and every change goes live as you make it: photos, colours, wording, pages, the lot.
How does What’s On stay up to date?
We check local event listings and venues’ own websites for you every two weeks, and local listings every three months. You can add your own events, hide anything you don’t want, and guests can suggest events too.
Does it renew automatically?
Yes, once a year, so your app never goes off in the middle of the season. You can change your card or cancel at any time in your editor.
What kinds of business is it for?

Will it send my customers to my competitors?

What about guests’ data?
